Cleaning Section

During the travel of the grain from farm to fork, it passes through many steps and processes.

After harvesting, cleaning can be said as the first step of those processes which the grains are separated from the impurities and residues like stones, husks, straw, soil, dust, seeds etc. Mechanical separation methods of vibration, aspiration, size grading and magnetic separation are generally used for grain cleaning and classification purposes.

Grain cleaning is a combined steps of applications like pre cleaning, 1st and 2nd cleaning etc. Impurity levels are decreased at a certain rate during the grain intake by pre cleaning operation, while final cleaning is carried out to ensure excellent purity and hygiene of the products before processing in the mill. Dampening is also one of the cleaning applications, which the moisture level of product increased for softening purposes prior to milling.

Henry Simon offers high quality and technology cleaning machines and equipment designed for ultimate cleaning efficiency and low energy consumption levels, which are also suitable for very high capacities for grain intake operations.
